Our guest this week is Violet Duncan. Violet is an author, storyteller, educator, performer and Native Hoop & Powwow dancer. She is a proud member of the Plains Cree of Kehewian Cree Nation and Taino.

Violet facilitates workshops to promote spiritual wellness & cultural education across the United States, Canada & Europe. After becoming a mother of 4, she saw a need for Native American representation in literature and took it upon herself to begin writing children's books. She is also a featured storyteller at festivals around the world.
